Don Davis, Director POA

Don played 11 years in the NFL with four different teams; New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Rams and New England Patriots, where he was a two time Super Bowl Champion. Don believes the only reason he was allowed to play so long in the NFL is because he was called to minister to athletes. After retiring from the Pats in 2007, he joined Coach Bill Belichick’s staff as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Team Chaplain. Sensing a call from the Lord to go into full time ministry, Don became Director of NFL Programs for (Pro Athletes Outreach) in 2008. PAO is a conference based ministry for professional athletes. In 2010 Don was hired as a Regional Director of National Football League Players Association. The NFLPA is responsible for the players wages, hours and working conditions as well as educating them on the benefits and programs available to them. Along with being a devoted husband and loving father, Don also speaks regularly with organizations like Iron Sharpens Iron as well as local churches. His prayer is that through humility, honesty, transparency and authenticity, all see will God shining through him on a daily basis.

Steve joined Cru in 1976 working at Marshall University. During his tenure with Cru, he has served in several capacities, including Campus Director at the University of Connecticut, New England Area Director, National Director of Operations for U.S. Campus Ministry, National Director of U.S. Campus Ministry and Vice President of Global Campus Ministry.Steve married Christy in 1979 and they have 4 children: Emily, Bethany, T.J. and Jason. Christy joined Cru in 1974 as a staff member in Boston. Christy served as the Associate Campus Director at the University of Massachusetts and as the Associate Area Director for New England. Christy is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband.

Mark Hancock, CEO Trail Life

Mark began his career founding a national advertising agency and running it for fifteen years. His conversion to Christ led him into ministry as a Youth and College Pastor, Associate Pastor, Homeless Ministry Director and Global Event Director for an international ministry, which put him in front of thousands of people on five continents. He holds two Masters Degrees in the Mental Health Counseling field, having spent a number of years in private practice, and has taught at secular and Christian colleges. An award-winning writer and international conference speaker, he serves as Chief Executive Officer of Trail Life USA and lives near Greenville, SC with his wife of 27 years and two sons.
